by Ranney October 08, 2011I love these diapers. I use an insert and a cloth pull up or rubber pant over the diaper and never have problems. Only thing we need is a larger one. The large is getting tight on my fifteen month old. Hope they make one soon...

by clothy mommy June 06, 2011My homemade cloth diapers work way better. I'm wondering if either most of the good reviews were by people who work for dappi, or if they have made a few shotty batches of daipers and I ordered at the wrong time. That's still no excuse for the fact that the "absorbant" material in my dappis is basically just polyester fiberfill you would stuff in a toy. My daughter is not a heavy wetter, but when I resorted to using these I had to add cotton inserts or else she leaked the instant she peed, even though she always had a well-fitted daiper cover on.

by Naomi October 12, 2010The low price combined with some very positive reviews tempted me to try out these diapers, but I've been disappointed. I had been using an Irish brand of bamboo diapers called Little Comfort, and I've been spoiled - they are amazing! The only reason I didn't buy them again was that they were expensive, and I wanted to try a cheaper option. Now I'm sorry I didn't just pay up, because you get what you pay for. The biggest problem with the Dappi diapers is poor soakage. Even with an extra insert to improve absorption, my two month old is soaking wet after a few hours. I'll use them for as long as I can, but I'll probably soon end up using the worn out Little Comfort diapers that are left from my toddler instead. I defintely won't be buying Dappi Diapers again.

by Lovebnmom August 31, 2010I have been using these for over a year and a half and really like them. I use a regular 3-ply diaper inside as a liner and vinyl pants, and don't have leaks. I agree that the biggest problem is having the scratchy part of the velcro on the outside so they can be scratchy on larger babies or toddlers. I remedy this by turning the diaper inside out so the tag is on his back and the scratchy part of the velcro does not touch his tummy, but the velcro doesn't hold as well this way. Offering an even larger size than the Large would be nice.

by Christie May 10, 2010You know I ordered these out of curiosity. They work great! Do size up, because they shrink a little in the wash, but they are great daytime diapers. My DS has grown out of the M at 8 months and we will need to order larges. I would not use them over night, but they do the job without any fuss.

by Katie April 07, 2010Another wonderful Dappi product! These are great on my 15 month old Son. I bought the size large for him (he's 20lbs.) and they fit him well with plenty of room to grow. I use them under Thirsties size Medium covers. I'm really considering selling my Kushies AIO's and buying more of these. I like them that well. Shipping time was great too!

by Lisa January 30, 2010Overall these work well for the price and I am very satisfied with them. In my personal experience, they do have to be changed frequently [every 1-2 hours] and I have to use some type of insert no matter what. I just use an inexpensive flat fold diaper, folded into thirds and inserted in the cloth diaper. For me it works just as well, if not better than the pre-made inserts and it's much cheaper. At this point, I still use a disposable diaper at night because these diapers don't seem to hold much for an extended period of time [but then again, most cloth diapers need frequent changing]. I am planning on purchasing more of these because they are very cost effective and I do feel better about not having the waste that you have with disposable. Well worth the price in my opinion.

by Annie Lingle January 03, 2010It`s a great diaper and you can`t beat the price! I`ve found it to be very durable, the same diaper stash has lasted me through 2 kids. My 3yo had just outgrown the large. The only down side really is the hook part of the velcro. It`s sewn on the inside of the diaper instead of the outside. So it has a tendency to scratch the baby`s tummy. It`s easily fixed by re-sewing it which is what I do. If that one problem could be remedied, it`d save me a lot of time and earn it 5 stars in my book :-)
