  DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! If I could give no stars I would. I just received this product yesterday, excited to use it to help potty train my stubborn 3 year old. I have tried 6 different times, and she has peed through them 6 different times. They ARE NOT waterproof, and do not prevent leaks like the description says! You might as well use nothing as opposed to using this product!

  These are Great ! Gerber stopped making Vinyl pants out of Vinyl. I hope these will be around for a while.

  my husband and i just baptized our newly adopted 11 year old daughter last month into the catholic faith,we dressed her in the traditional,white poofy top of the knees baptism dress with a bonnet,lace anklets and patent leather shoes.i put a pair of the dappi rubber pants on her that she wore under her dress for the day.she did not have a diaper under them.they looked nice on her and fit her good.i was impressed with them! they are now in her under wear drawer and she is going to wear them under her christmas dress also.

  i use these dappi plastic pants on my 12 year old daughter for special occasions and to church on sundays.she wets sometimes due to excitement and nervousness.she wears them over a pullup.they fit her fairly well as she is smaal for her age

  to kathryn,yes it is a tradition at my parish for the girls to wear a cloth diaper and rubberpants under their communion dresses.my parish and many others thru out the country the communion dress is considered an extension of the baptism gown or dress the girls were baptized in as infants.so the diaper and rubberpants reprensents the girls purity of their baptisms for first communion.i know of a few parishes that require the girls to wear the cloth diaper,rubberpants and tights with their dresses.the dappi rubberpants looked nice over my daughters diaper and she didnt have any problems with them.she is going to wear the diaper and dappi rubberpants under tights with her holiday dress this year for thanksgiving and christmas and easter next year,

  Out of curiousity, I wondered about an 8 year old wearing a diaper for first communion. Aparently, it's a tradition symbolizing a baby-like quality of purity?? Okay? I made my first communion and never wore a diaper. Anyway, I really like these covers, IF they fit my boys. They are huge on them. My 23lb. 2.5 year old wears a size small. They are great when they fit though!

  These worked pretty well for as far as preventing leaks, however they are obviously a very cheap product as the side seams on most of mine eventual ripped after a few weeks to a few months of use. And they don't stop leaks when using the dappi pinless daiper because those daipers are useless. In the end I found it more usefull to invest in some high-quality daiper covers that look like they will last through more than one child.

  These work pretty good. Will be using them to potty train and use over flats and snappi. To the person who commented on the 8 year old. Did it ever occur to you that an 8 year old may have special needs. Great cover for the price.

  Great to see this product exists - having a hard time finding something similar in stores. I have to say I'm shocked to read comments regarding 8 year olds still wearing and needing diapers and vinyl diaper pants.

  my 8 year old daughter just made her first communion last sunday and they had a few pairs of the dappi rubber pants and the gerber rubberpants in the dressing room and i put a pair of the dappis on my daughter and she liked them under her communion dress.all of the dappis were gone and only two pair of the gerber pants were left.most of the moms said they prefer the dappis for their daughters to wear under special occasion dresses.
